Soooooo awesome!
Traveling 3 hours to set up an exhibition is the perfect excuse for a mini vacation. I rolled into town without any reservations and of course, the hotels were pretty busy. I finally landed in what seemed like the only parking lot of a hotel that said “Vacancy” and what an amazing hotel it was! It was in that hotel that I found myself stepping through time and fully inspired to move forward with my upcoming exhibition idea “A Piece of History”; a tribute to the forgotten people and places of the past with my flare for modern weirdness.
“Cannon Beach Hotel – Historic New England-style hotel; This boutique hotel stands as one of the last remaining historic lodgings on the Oregon coast. The hotel has been completely refurbished to celebrate the past as well as offering many modern amenities with the timeless reunion of style and character”
Could not be more true! They also have a wonderfully eclectic whiskey and scotch bar right next door. To recap, it’s a historical building turned into a 9-room luxurious lodge, has a built-in scotch and whiskey bar, and is located in the hub of all restaurants, pubs, and galleries. Should you ever find yourself in the area, this is the place you should stay. Five stars are given from this artist.
